Our Ministries

Our church offers a variety of ministries and programs designed to nurture spiritual growth, foster fellowship, and serve those in need. From youth and adult education to outreach initiatives, there is something for everyone at St. John Episcopal.

Columbus Oaks

Supporting Families in Need

At St. John Episcopal Church, we are committed to supporting families in our community by providing essential baby and children's items, such as diapers and formula, to Lil Einstein's for distribution to families in need. Additionally, we actively support the Columbus Food Pantry, helping to ensure that our neighbors have access to nutritious food. Through these efforts, we live out our mission of "Serving God by serving others" and extend our care to those who need it most.

Alcoholics Anonymous

Columbus Oaks

At Columbus Oaks and Oak Bluff, our ministry is dedicated to sharing the love of Christ with the residents. We gather to share the Gospel, offer communion, and provide a warm meal, fostering a sense of fellowship and community. In addition to spiritual nourishment, we also distribute toiletries and other essential items to help meet their everyday needs, embodying our mission of "Serving God by serving others."

Supporting Recovery and Fellowship

St. John Episcopal Church is proud to host Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meetings in our Fellowship Hall, providing a safe and welcoming space for those seeking support in their recovery journey. Meetings are held on Sundays at 6:00 PM (Big Book meeting), Tuesdays at 8:00 PM, and Wednesdays at 6:30 PM (women's group). We are honored to be part of this important ministry, offering a place for healing, hope, and fellowship.
